Abstract
Ronald Coase has paid the attention of the economic profession on the importance of social coordination in the economic system. He has attracted the attention of mainstream economics due to the controversial political conclusions of his famous Theorem and the paradoxical concept of the zero transaction costs world. In the present study, the focus is placed on the division of labour as the base of analysis of the zero transaction costs. From this point of view, the world of zero transaction costs can be found on Robinson Island. Previous discussions of the zero transaction costs have mostly focused on the perfect information assumption. When this postulate is pushed to its logical limits, a price mechanism doesn't exist and difficulties of central planning are disappearing. This interpretation is in line with the Hayekian interpretation of the market as the mechanism of discovering of knowledge. (original abstract)
